Ty is part of a family that has lived and breathed asphalt maintenance for 4 generations. His great-grandpa, Sylvan Stepp, started manufacturing asphalt maintenance equipment in 1942 and opened Stepp Manufacturing. Decades later, the Stepp family is still known for asphalt equipment, processes, products, and hands-on industry knowledge.

Blow Off the Surface
Once the surface is cleaned and prepped, the driveway or parking lot is blown off so the area is ready for crack sealing and sealcoat application.
Seal the Cracks
Cracks are sealed using industrial hot rubber applied at 425°F to help keep water from infiltrating the asphalt and causing bigger cracks.
Apply the Sealcoat
Sealcoat is applied using squeegee brushes or spraying, depending on the size of the project and the customer's preference.
Tape Off and Cure
After the work is complete, Konseal cautions off the serviced area and allows it to cure properly. Ty will let you know when it's safe to use the surface again.
